Welcome to Hemlock Hut! The ultimate cozy adventure. Our three and four-day hut trips offer unforgettable days of ACMG guided ski touring in our helicopter-accessed private tenure just outside of Revelstoke in the Selkirk Mountains. Evenings are spent by the fire, relaxing in our off-grid hut — off-grid & all together.
Our trips are designed for small groups of up to four advanced to expert riders. All bookings are exclusive hut buyouts based on a 4-person occupancy, so you’ll always have the place to yourself.

Tenure & Terrain
Perched at 2,000m, Hemlock Hut offers prime mid-winter ski touring with 250–850m runs in treeline terrain. Expect moderate slopes, alpine bowls, steep chutes, treed gullies, and pillowy old-growth. Most groups log ~1,200m daily, with options for more vertical or technical lines. Our guides focus on fun and rewarding tours.
Hut Experience
Our 225 sq. ft. off-grid backcountry hut features a cozy wood stove, propane cookstove, and solar power for lights and charging. It’s ideal for small groups who are comfortable with remote, compact living. Simple, yet hearty group meals are prepared and served by the guide. Guests and guides share custodial duties like hauling water, shovelling snow, and keeping the fires stoked.
Sauna Experience
Ski, sauna, sleep, repeat. Designed and inspired by several years of “research” at backcountry saunas across BC, our custom-built wood-burning sauna is a daily ritual at Hemlock Hut. We fire it up after each ski day, giving guests an opportunity to relax, unwind, and maybe even do a snow dive or two. Finish with our signature bucket shower and you’ll be all set for another big day in the mountains.
Sleeping Loft
Our private guest sleeping loft is super cozy and thoughtfully designed for small groups. It features two double beds and two single beds with fitted sheets and pillowcases provided.

What’s Included
IN-BOUND HELI-TRANSFER
8:00 AM heli-transfer from Glacier Helicopters to Hemlock Hut.
GUIDED SKI TOURING
Guided backcountry touring, led by one of our professional ACMG Ski Guides.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation in our cozy off-grid hut.
FOOD
Hearty, simple meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, prepared by your guide.
LINEN
Sheets and pillowcases are provided. Guests bring their own sleeping bag.
OUT-BOUND HELI-TRANSFER
8:00 AM heli-transfer from Hemlock Hut to the Glacier Helicopters.
Booking & Payments
BOOKING INFO: All bookings are exclusive private hut buyouts based on 4-person occupancy. Guests can choose between The Weekend at $9,120 CAD (tax incl.) or The Midweek at $11,520 CAD (tax incl.). Whether booking solo or with a group, the full hut rate applies. For a group of four, the cost works out to $2,280 CAD per person for The Weekend and $2,880 CAD per person for The Midweek.
DEPOSIT: An initial payment of 25% of the trip total is due at the time of booking, with the remaining balance due 120 days prior to your trip.
PAYMENTS: We recommend using the bank transfer option as there are no additional fees. You can pay via pre-authorized debit or using a US checking account with a routing number at checkout. Be sure to switch to your local currency and follow the on-screen instructions. Credit card payments are accepted but are subject to a 2.9% processing fee.
Waiver & Age Requirement
AGE REQUIREMENT:
Revelstoke Guides has a 19+ age policy unless otherwise agreed in writing.
WAIVER REQUIREMENT:
All participants, or their parent/legal guardian in the case of an approved minor under 19, must review and agree to our Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement (the “Waiver”) for the applicable season as a condition of participating in the trip. If the Waiver is not completed, the individual will not be permitted to participate.

If you are booking on behalf of others, you are responsible for informing all participants of this Waiver Requirement and ensuring they are aware of the terms of the Waiver. This requirement applies to all participants, including those added to a reservation at a later date. A paper copy of the Waiver will also be available at the start of your trip.
Revelstoke Guides reserves the right to update the Waiver each season. If you are booking well in advance, the current season’s Waiver will be provided prior to your final payment. PLEASE READ THE WAIVER CAREFULLY PRIOR TO MAKING ANY PAYMENT.
